Clinical Psychologist
Sam began his journey with Beyond whilst completing a placement working with children and families as part of his training as a Clinical Psychologist. Since then, he has remained a part of the Beyond team as an associate clinician. Sam’s professional interests and experience lie primarily in the fields of neurodiversity (Autism and ADHD primarily) and early developmental trauma. Since 2017 he has worked across multiple autism and ADHD assessment teams with both children and adults, and he has recently qualified from his doctoral training. As part of training, Sam has gained experience in assessment and therapeutic intervention with a range of clients including children, working age and older adults and clients with learning disabilities.
My experience at Beyond during my placements was wonderful, so when I was offered the opportunity to continue working with the team, I jumped at it.
Outside of my role at Beyond Psychology
When I am not working or training, I spend my time surrounded by my many pets (dogs, cats and chickens) and take great pride in growing fruits and vegetables in my garden. I am learning French and like to try to spend some of my free time in France when I can. I am also a bit of a geek and love Sci-fi and gaming.
